Georgetown Slavery Archive’s
Virtual Teachers’ Workshop
The Georgetown Slavery Archive invites history teachers from Jesuit high schools to participate in a free online workshop to develop curricula about the history of slavery, the Catholic Church, and the Society of Jesus.
The Georgetown Slavery Archive’s Virtual Summer Teachers’ Workshop, which will feature lectures from Georgetown University historians, model lesson plans, and breakout sessions with colleagues from across the country, will meet on Zoom from 1:00-2:30 PM EDT each day from Monday, July 13 to Thursday, July 16.
The Georgetown Slavery Archive encourages one teacher from each Jesuit high school in North America to attend the Virtual Summer Teachers’ Workshop.
RSVP by July 10 using the link below or by email to Andrew Davenport at firstname.lastname@example.org.
